About Me

I’m a licensed psychotherapist with 25 years of experience in behavioral health, offering trauma-informed, integrative care to individuals and communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, DC. My work is shaped by years on the front lines of mental health care, serving and supporting people who have often felt misunderstood, overlooked, or worn down by systems that weren’t built with them in mind.

I specialize in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS/Parts Work), Mind-Body Medicine, EMDR, and I’m a Freedom From Chronic Pain Practitioner. Much of my work focuses on helping people heal from chronic or neuroplastic pain, trauma, burnout, and long-standing patterns of self-criticism, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. Together, we work to rebuild trust with the body, deepen self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and values-aligned.

My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I see symptoms as meaningful signals rather than problems to fix. Healing interventions can include not just conversation, but embodied experiences such as Mind-Body Skills groups, drumming, movement, breathwork, creativity, and nature-based practices that support nervous system regulation and connection.

Alongside clinical work, I bring extensive experience building programs, facilitating groups, supervising clinicians, and leading interdisciplinary teams. Earlier in my career, I helped create one of the first juvenile mental health courts on the East Coast, collaborating with courts, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community partners to design therapeutic, just, and effective diversionary systems of care.

I also draw on my personal experience with neurodivergence and chronic health challenges (now in remission), which helps me approach my work with empathy, understanding, and practical insight. Whether supporting someone in therapy or collaborating with an organization, my aim is to create spaces where collaboration, healing, connection, authenticity, and lasting growth can flourish.

I’m based in York, PA, and offer in-person sessions in York and telehealth in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, DC. I honor that this work takes place on the ancestral lands of the Susquehannock, Piscataway, and Nacotchtank (Anacostan) peoples, recognizing and accrediting their ongoing presence and healing traditions.
