My Approach

Collaborative, Practical, and Body-Aware I bring together evidence-based methods and deep respect for your lived experience. My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) with somatic and mind-body practices, helping you connect with your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations—without judgment.

A Strengths-Based Lens Rather than seeing symptoms as problems, I view them as meaningful signals. Together, we’ll explore which parts of you may be trying to protect or express something, and work toward more internal clarity, self-trust, and ease.

Creative Tools If you choose, we can include movement, breathwork, music, or art into our work. These trauma-informed, experiential tools can help us access healing that talk therapy alone may not reach. Many clients appreciate that our work is both grounded and creatively alive.

A Warm and Attuned Presence Whether you’re dealing with neurodivergent burnout, chronic health issues, or feeling out of sync in life or relationships, I’ll meet you with care, curiosity, and respect. We’ll move at a pace that honors your needs and goals.

What Informs My Work

Lived Experience Meets Clinical Expertise Living with ADHD and managing Inflammatory Bowel Disease after a total colectomy has taught me the realities of invisible identities and chronic wellness. With over 20 years as a mental health professional, I bring compassion and connection to clients with similar experiences.

Healing from the Inside Out Healing often begins when we acknowledge our burdens, understand our needs, and practice listening inward. From this place, we can communicate more clearly and create space to thrive.

A Commitment to Growth and Integrity I value creativity, nature, travel, and new experiences—and I bring that openness into our sessions. I actively engage in the practices I offer, including:

  • Prioritizing my own wellness

  • Cultivating honest, courageous relationships

  • Challenging systemic isms that contribute to disconnection and trauma

This ongoing personal work helps me show up present and compassionate, creating space for authentic healing.

Where I Practice I’m based in York, PA, and offer virtual therapy in Maryland and Washington, DC. I respectfully acknowledge that this work takes place on the ancestral lands of the Susquehannock, Piscataway, and Nacotchtank (Anacostan) peoples. I honor their continued presence and commit to practicing with cultural humility and respect for Indigenous histories and healing traditions.
