I am considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, many clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits and are able to receive partial reimbursement from their insurance company. If you’d like to explore this option, I can provide a superbill—a detailed receipt with the necessary codes and information—to help with your claims process.
While I’m not affiliated with Mentaya, I recommend it as a helpful third-party service that can submit out-of-network claims on your behalf. It may simplify the reimbursement process depending on your insurance coverage. Click HERE for direct link to Mentaya.
Before beginning therapy, I suggest contacting your insurance provider to understand your coverage. Here are helpful questions to ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I need a referral or prior authorization for therapy?
Is there a deductible I need to meet first?
What percentage of the following codes is reimbursable?
90791 (Initial Intake)
90837 (55-60 minute therapy session)
90837-95 (for telehealth sessions)
Please note that insurance typically requires a diagnosis to process claims. Sessions focused on general wellness or life coaching may not be covered.
Rates & Payment Options:
Individual Sessions: $150 per 50-55 minute session
Initial Intake: $225 per 90 minute session.
Mutual Support and Psychoeducational Groups: Insurance typically does not reimburse for these services. Please see click HERE to view Services page with group fee details.
Payment is due at the time of each session
Accepted forms of payment: Credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, collected through HIPPA compliant payment service for therapists: IvyPay
If you have any questions about fees, insurance reimbursement, or how to best use your benefits, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to support you in navigating your options.

Upon request, I can provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) before we begin. This outlines the expected cost of services, so you have a clear understanding of your investment. You can read more about the GFE by clicking: HERE.
When we start working together, I usually recommend meeting weekly or every other week to build momentum and establish a strong foundation. As things begin to shift and settle, we’ll reassess and adjust the frequency based on your needs and goals.

I currently offer individual and group counseling for adults and teens ages 16 and up. If you're receiving individual therapy and feel it would be helpful to include a partner or family member for a specific session, you're welcome to bring that up. We’ll talk it through together and plan ahead to make sure it supports your goals for our work.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that things come up unexpectedly. To respect both our time and make space for others who may be waiting, I ask for at least 48 business hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. Without that notice, your card on file may be charged the full session fee. Thank you for your understanding and for helping me offer consistent, thoughtful care to everyone I work with. -
Once you reach out, I’ll respond with a few questions to make sure I’m the right fit for your needs. If it feels like a good match, I’ll offer a brief phone consultation so you can ask questions and get a sense of how I work.
If you decide to move forward, I’ll invite you to complete secure, HIPAA-compliant intake forms before our first session. These forms cover your personal and health history, current concerns, consent for treatment, and practice policies. This part helps us begin our work with clarity and shared understanding.
When scheduling your first appointment, I often recommend a 90-minute initial session if your availability and comfort allow. This gives us spacious time to begin building connection and exploring your concerns more deeply without rushing. Alternatively, some clients prefer to spread the intake process over the first two to three 50-minute sessions. Either approach is welcome, and we can decide together.
In our first few sessions, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, identify your goals, and begin to understand the patterns, strengths, and inner systems that shape your experience. There’s no pressure to tell your full story all at once, we will move at a pace that feels respectful and supportive for you.
Whether you’re feeling ready to dive in or just curious about getting started, I welcome your questions and look forward to meeting you wherever you are.
